v1.8.0 Preview

Changelog

Ported to 1.20.5. This is an early version still being worked on, expect glitches and undocumented new features.

  • Changed names and descriptions of many custom advancements
  • Removed gamestage listing from all "story" advancements which previously had them
    • I am planning to phase out gamestage all together. v1.8.0 will not support the old gamestage based loot tables for the Ancient City. The Ancient City will recieve a static nerf to loot like everything else.
  • Added 1 new advancement: Where are Bundles?
  • Removed Longer day/night cycle
    • Felt like the issues with passing the night and less-than-smooth celestial body moment was too much of a trade-off. If you want to bring it back, suggest that in the Discord server; with enough requests, I'll consider.

Unless you voice your opinion on the Discord server, I will likely push the update back until these are done.

Known issues

  • "Adventure" advancements tab is duplicated
    • This is fixed on my end, but I'll upload a new alpha or release when there are more features done or fixed
  • Some advancements are missing? (Nipocu)
  • Pain, lots of pain
