Hello Restitchers! Hope you are all safe.

Minecraft 1.20.5-6 is the biggest technical update we've had in a while. Consequently, Armor Restitched 1.1.6-1.20.6 is the biggest update to the mod in a long time. Below are the changes:

  • Fix: Gold trim discount for anvils now works again, renaming items no longer require additional level.

  • Fix: Skeleton Horse Armor renderer is now compatible with any resource pack that affects vanilla horse armour model layer.

  • Fix: Recipe advancement bug for green beds, cotton from cotton blocks and linen from linen blocks fixed.

  • Change: Armor points buffed, extra protection. (1.5x -> 2x per level of Protection equipped.)

  • Change: Protection slightly buffed (full Prot IV cuts 72% damage, up from 70%).

  • Change: Special Protection types nerfed.

  • Change: Impact Protection and Feather Falling are now mutually exclusive from all other special Protections.

  • Change: Breach enchantment applicable to all weapons in the #minecraft:weapons tag.

  • Change: Elytra trim toughness readjusted.

  • Change: Illusioners no longer spawn with armour.

  • Change: V/illager armour no longer has arms, to ease distinguishing between them and smoother compatibility with Fresh Animations.

  • Change: Soaring horizontal speed decreased (too fast).

  • Change: Trim recipes now require 4 diamonds, to balance for increased diamond generation.

  • Change: Horse armour recipes now require 6 of the ingredient, instead of 7, just like wolf armour.

  • Change: Knockback resistance from armour readjusted. Armadillo armour now grantes 2% knockback resistance per piece, same as turtle.

  • Change: Mulberry sapling and leaves re-textured.

  • Change: Armour durability nerfed, from 1.75 x vanilla to 1.5 x vanilla.

  • Change: Cotton flowers now generate more often in jungle/sparse jungle/bamboo jungle biomes.

  • Change: Flax Stem renamed to Flax Straw.

  • Addition: Added Strike Protection against melee attacks, and Magic Protection against magic, indirect magic, and dragon breath.

  • Addition: Elytra trims for new trims (Bolt, Flow) added.

  • Addition: Breach and Piercing now cut Protection amount from enchantments by 7% per level.

  • Addition: Piercing now behaves the same as Breach for projectile attacks, cutting armour points.

  • Addition: Wolves drop fur according to vanilla variant.

  • Addition: Armadillos have 14 default armour points.

  • Addition: Armour points now reduces fire duration, and knockback resistance reduces knockback from explosions. Extra bonus for Netherite armour.

  • Addition: #armorrestitched:silk_extraction_heat_source tag added. In addition to the tagged sources, any light source of 15 works automatically for silk extraction. Campfires now have to be lit to heat water cauldrons for silk extraction.

  • Addition: Textile Carpets now provide +3 armour when worn on Body slot (applicable to Llamas).

  • Addition: Spiders and Cave Spiders drop silk instead of simple string.

  • Addition: EMI integration added, linen Scucthing recipe added.

  • Removal: The previous built-in "Fresh Restitched Animations" resource pack removed. No longer needed for its function.
