Unusual Prehistory is a mod that focuses on adding prehistoric life, plants, and features into Minecraft! You can revive a wide roster of long extinct animals to be used, fought, or showcased to the wider world!

How to Revive Mobs:
1. Finding Fossils
Finding Fossils is fairly easy, as they spawn all over the world, however many animals are specific to certain types of fossils. Dinosaurs for example can only be obtained through mesozoic and amber fossils while more ancient creatures can be gotten from paleozoic fossils
2. Analyzing
After one finds some fossils, they have to place them in an anaylzer along with some flasks. After sometime you may get some DNA from these fossils, though its not garanteed!
3. Cultivating
After getting some DNA you have to throw it into a cultivator with some organic ooze. Make sure you click on the bottom half of the machine! After some you'll have a egg (Or an extra step if its a live-birth animal). If you have an egg, make sure to either place it on organic blocks or onto water if its an aquatic egg!
4. BONUS STEP Incubating
Some animals as many may know do not have eggs, they instead give birth to their young alive. For animals like this you have to place the embryo into a birthing pod. After some time the pod will burst breaking open releasing this new animal unto the world

Q: Can you add X to the Mod?
A: There is a good chance that X will come eventually, however you can discuss your ideas on the discord server
Q: Will you port this to fabric?
A: No, maintaining 2 separate versions of the mod on 2 different mod loaders is too much work for me. It will never come to Fabric or any other edition of the game.
Q: Can you port to X Version?
A: We always strive to get to the latest version as soon as possible, however I will not be backporting updates for the sole reason that its too much work and that time could be spent better elsewhere
