Some wolf variants may not be available to spawn naturally because of the inapplicable spawning conditions in older versions such as:
- Rusty Wolves in the Sparse Jungle biome
- Spotted Wolves in the Savanna Plateau
- Striped Wolves in the Wooded Badlands
