See datapack changelog below.

Release 3.4 ties everything that was added with 1.21.5 nicely together! And yet again, I'm making it known that Geophilic's code is now on GitHub.

Additions

  • Added sandstone boulders to the Desert
  • Added dry grass to the Beach biome
  • Added Dunes!
    • Dunes are a new landscape feature found in the Desert
    • They are made up of swaths of dry grass, dead bushes, flowers and cacti
    • They also contain a significant amount of sandstone boulders

Changes

  • Dry grass can now generate in place of what used to only be dead bushes in the Desert
  • In addition to this, there is now more of this dry vegetation
  • Migrated the fallen tree feature from the block column type to the new fallen tree one
    • Mushrooms as well as moss can generate on these fallen trees
  • Dark Forests now have an increased amount of leaf litter
  • Old Growth Birch Forests now get more wildflowers per wildflower

Changes since last Snap

  • Increased generation rates of leaf litters, wildflowers, and bushes in all relevant biomes

See datapack changelog below.

Geophilic release 3.2 incorporates the Pale Garden rework!

  • Reworked the Pale Garden biome
    • Adjusted the biome's vegetation
    • The Pale Oak has new variants that generate in the biome
  • Touched up the Dark Forest biome rework
    • Distribution of trees and vegetation was adjusted
      • This also means giant mushrooms are now half as common
    • The Dark Oak now has a new variant, with more interesting crowns, similar to what you can find in the Pale Garden
  • Fixed bug where water could potentially generate on top of trees in the Stony Shores biome

Changes from Snap 3.2-c:

  • Changed flower distribution in the Pale Garden, making Eyeblossoms somewhat more common
  • Increased tree density in the Pale Garden
  • Adjusted the slim root variant of the Pale Oak

See datapack changelog.

This snap touches up the Dark Forest biome:

  • The trees were changed up, and the dark oak now has a new variant, with more interesting crowns, similar to what you can find in the pale garden!
  • The tree mix in the forest was modified to make the biome feel a bit more consistent. As a result of this, giant mushrooms will now generate half as much as before.
  • The biome is now also a bit darker and eerier. This does mean mobs may spawn more often, so do test it out and see if that's to your liking.

This snap also fixes the bug where water could potentially generate on top of trees in the Stony Shores biome.

See datapack changelog.

This snapshot improves the pale garden rework further, adding new interesting trees and modifying vegetation generation.

See datapack changelog.

This is the first snapshot for version 3.2.0!
