This is an unsupported version of Incendium! Use at your own risk.

What does this mean?

The datapack itself is fine, it's not experimental in any way. Instead, support will not be offered for small issues, incompatibilities, or other bugs.

If there is a game-breaking bug or crash, we will provide fixes for it.

Why is it unsupported?

Stardust Labs is currently using all of its time it has for Incendium, and putting it into the rewrite.

When the rewrite is released, upgrading from this port to the rewrite may not be possible, or will involve resetting the nether dimension.

Incendium v5.4.3

  • Updated to 1.21.3
  • Sanctum Guardians no longer drop their Blast Protection 15 armor
  • Some Incendium items will no longer burn in lava/fire

Incendium 5.3.5

MASSIVE thanks to Rei for making this update happen! Without Rei, Incendium would have completely skipped 1.20.5. So many things broke in 1.20.5, and it was simply not worth my time. Thank you!

  • Updated to 1.20.5 (supports 1.20-1.20.6)
  • Now supports Neoforge
  • Scout's Battle Helm now uses an emerald Sentry trim
  • Custom banners and potions have been renamed, or given a name if there was not one already
  • Custom banners and potions are now split into their own loot tables for easier use
  • New particles for Necrotic and Radiation shields, and they should trigger their effects properly
  • In 1.20.5 only, Ghastling now appears as a mini-Ghast
  • Voltaic Trident should now work properly
  • Holy Wrath is removed from a loot table it shouldn't have been in
  • Fixed issue where Piglin Villagers would not move
  • Greatsword of Sacrifice's self-damage has been rebalanced
  • Restless Spirits should no longer starve to death
  • Fixed issue where a new marker entity would generate on every single world load
  • Fixed a malformed JSON strings that could spawm console on Spigot-based servers

Incendium 5.3.4

  • Officially supports 1.20.3/4
  • Sanctum fixes:
    • Skeletons will no longer spawn in the structure
    • Fixed a small section of the maze that was 1 block too high
    • Sanctum Guardians now wear their armor correctly
    • Added some structure voids to slightly improve terrain adaptation (but not completely fix)
  • Greatsword of Sacrifice self-damage has been more than doubled, since armor now helps against it
  • Slightly increased the exclusion zone of Incendium structures (so they don't spawn too close to each other)
  • Toxic Slimes should finally no longer die of fall damage
  • Fixed an issue where custom potions lost their effects when using Fabric on 1.20.2
  • Added empty function file for manual compat with other datapacks

Incendium v5.3.3

While we patiently wait for the rework, here are some much needed bug fixes or temporary changes to relieve some common pain points. This update and v5.3.2 should be backported to 1.19.x eventually, but no ETA.

  • Nether Fortresses and Bastions have been made significantly more common
  • Desert Blazes should now drop Blaze Rods if using YUNG's Better Nether Fortresses
  • Buffed the Greatsword of Sacrifice: the sacrifice amount has been lowered since it now uses the /damage command
  • Toxic Slimes and Restless Spirits will no longer die from fall damage and starvation, respectively
  • Toxic Slime and Restless Spirit death calculations have been tweaked to be more accurate
  • Sanctum's "Infinite Corridor" now activates properly
  • Fixed custom shield cooldowns, so they should no longer be spammable

Incendium v5.3.2

  • Works on all 1.20.x versions!
  • Uses the new overlays and Multi-versioned pack.mcmeta introduced in 1.20.2 (thank you Mojang)
  • Pretty-ified datapack description
  • Updated biome colors and structure icons to new standard for Datapack Map and World Preview
  • Added a couple Fabric/Forge tags

Bug Fixes and Tweaks.

  • Warping Witherblade drop rate increased to 33%
  • Sanctum Mobs will no longer despawn
  • Blazing Hatchet correctly able to be used on Bamboo, Cherry, and Mangrove logs
  • Blazing Hatchet now able to be used on all stripped variants of logs
  • "To-do List" note in Abandoned Tower uses the correct translation system
  • Torte's Cake Batter added to Admin Menu
  • Vault Guardians are now more resistant to fireworks

Mod-only update

WARNING - If updating to this version while using Terralith and/or Nullscape, you must update those versions at the same time!

  • Removed Seedfix implementation: now relies on Unfixed Seeds and Fabric API if on Fabric. Forge users have no new dependencies.
  • Removed Warden and Frog from an entity tag
  • Typo: Changed /place feature to /placefeature

Updates
- Reduced particles in Quartz Flats
- Structures far less likely to intersect
- Unstable Powder moved from Piglin Alchemist to a barrel; Alchemist drops potions instead
- (Castle) Coolant Room made slightly more common, and Kitchen made slightly less
- Chilling Blade now guaranteed in every Coolant Room
- Scout's Battle Helm particles now hidden when invisible
