V-No-Pumpkin-Overlay (Recipe) is a small datapack that is using the equippable Component and the newly added camera_overlay field that allows us to remove the overlay via commands, recipes and etc. without the need of a resourcepack! you could also use this Component to make custom overlays per item wich is really cool.

There is a 2nd Versions of this Datapack, "LootTable"

Recipe

to get a Carved Pumpkin without Overlay put a normal Carved Pumpkin in a Crafting grid:

image schows a 4x4 crafting grid inside the input is a normal Carved Pumpkin inside the output is a Pumpkin with lore that says "No-Overlay"
