Agrarian Insight

This mod is exclusively available for Forge (1.16.5, 1.18.2 & 1.20.1) and NeoForge (1.21+). There are no plans for a Fabric port in the near future, so please refrain from requesting one. Maintaining multiple versions and two mod loaders is already quite challenging, and I’m not sufficiently familiar with Fabric.

Experience orbs drop when mining, so why not when harvesting crops? While other mods like “XP From Harvest” offer this feature, they often lack customization and additional features.

Why did I create this mod?

A friend requested it for her mod pack, so I decided to bring it to life for her.

Key features include:

• A new enchantment called “Agrarian Insight” that increases the experience dropped from crops when harvested. By default, it can only be applied to hoes, but you can add other tools in the config under the additionalHoes list. For the 1.21 version, you’ll need to modify the enchantment with a data pack.
• Full customization of the experience drop rate from crops.
• Configurable blacklist or whitelist mode to enable or disable specific crops.
• Auto Replant mode configuration.
• Easy harvest mode configuration (right-click to harvest).
