Intro

Here's, This Very amazing mod I made for minecraft. With the help of it you can chat with Ai in-game about things like asking it for some help, recipes, tricks, or basically anything, if nothing just engage with in conversation. It won't let you feel alone in the minecraft single player world, as You always have ChatMC to talk with.. And believe me, she's much better than any real world friend, because she will always reply to your messages, that also in seconds.

Setup

Note

• This Mod works only on client side as on now. (If you want it to work on the server side too, then comment to me).
• This Mod Works on both Forge And Fabric with exact same functionalities.
• You will need active internet connection to get response from ChatMC.
• make Sure Commands Are enabled in your world, to chat with it.

Get an API Key from Groq Website

1. First Visit The Groq Website
2. Log in or create a new account ( log in with google for faster experience).
3. Go to API Keys Tab.
4. Create a new API Key.

• Give It Any name. Then Click Submit. Now Copy The Key and Click Done.

Setup Key In Minecraft

This is a one time process You have to in your minecraft world and never again!

1. After Installing the mod, Open Minecraft (either with forge or fabric with appropriate version).
2. Jump Into any world. Make sure that the world has Commands enabled.
3. Type in this Command "/chatmc setkey <paste-your-apikey>". You only have to this once in any of your minecraft world. And It will work in any world next time. Setup Done!

Chat With AI

Just type in "/chatmc <your-message>" and this way you can chat with you Personal Ai assistant in minecraft.

Future Plans for new features!

I have lot Ideas For the future of this Mod. I am actually a beginner in minecraft java mod development. So I am learning most of the things. This is the first version of this mod, where I just wanted this mod to at least work without any issue. In which I was successful. But In upcoming time, I will learn more things, And implement a lot of new and unique Features to this AI chatbot. Some of Them I will list below. So I want you guys to support this Mod, So that All of these new things can be possible. It's because working with AI chatbots requires me to have access to commercial API key.

Planned Features

• No need for setup and API key for each user: Every Mod will be powered by one single Powerful Api.
• Fine-tuned AI or very topic-specific AI: Right Now The model follows set of commands before answering making it stick to topic. But that's not the best option. Instead, we can prepare a model to literally be a Minecraft AI.
• User Information awareness: Ai is aware of user details Like Username, etc.
• More realtime awareness: Ai is aware of your co-ordinates, inventory items, settings, more debug info, etc.
• Realtime view awareness: The mod takes a screenshot of your current view and gives it to the AI to process. So that it can help you with your on-going situations.
