About

Create: Deep Dark is a Create addon featuring new end-game items based on the Deep Dark biome, making venturing into Warden territory more fun and rewarding.

Features

✨New Echo material, obtainable from Echo Shards and Sculk blocks, or by defeating the Warden

✨Fully trimmable armor set and melee weapon, with special effects

✨Dozens of new items, fluid and recipes using Create's machines

✨A special recipe for Netherite ingots using Superheating, for double the ingot output

✨The Echo Cake, a superior version of the Blaze Cake. Used for Superheating or as a fuel for furnaces and generators from other mods. It will burn for 19 200 ticks (3 times longer than the regular Blaze Cake)

Gameplay

Get Sculk Flour by crushing any Sculk block from the Deep Dark biome. You'll also get experience from the process as you would by using a hoe, in the form of nuggets. This also opens the door for interesting experience farms...

Echo Shards found in Ancient Cities can be mixed to obtain Molten Echo, a fluid needed for several recipes including the Echo Ingots. You could also try to get Echo Ingots by defeating the Warden, but this might prove to be a more difficult task...

Echo Ingots will prove useful to craft an upgraded version of your Netherite armor and sword, with special effects:

- The full Echo Armor set grants infinite Resistance II and Strength II bonuses

props1

- The Echo Sword inflicts Weakness II and Darkness II on hit, for 5 seconds (not stackable)

The Echo Armor is also trimmable, like any vanilla armor:

While you should not run out of Sculk any time soon after an adventure in the Deep Dark, you might find yourself lacking Echo Shards to craft your precious ingots. Luckily, a Master Cleric will be happy to trade those for a couple Emeralds.

Dependencies

Only the base Create mod is required for this one to work.

JEI is recommended but not required.

Installation

Add the .jar mod file into your mods folder.

Alternatively, you can browse the Modrinth launcher for the mod (if it doesn't show up, try typing the autor's name). Once found, click "Install" to add it to your modpack.
