CutAndSlash is a mod that adds a ton of new weapons from diffrent eras and even crossovers from other games! Every weapon is end-game and has completely different strategies to use compared to vanilla weapons.

The weapons added have also a ton of diffrent effects, could be a activation ability with cooldown, or a passive effect while holding the item, making every weapon a diffrent from each other. Express yourself creating combos of weapons making you a professional at fighing!

Japan:

Spoiler

Caltrops: A simple thorn trap that slows whoever steps on it while hurting him.

Katana: A light and agile but extremely powerful sword made out of Tamahagane.

Jo: An extremely powerful wooden staff, breaks the bones of those who are attacked, has a special in which it causes a radial explosion.

Bo: An upgrade of Jo, made from Tamahagane, its durability and strength are superior, debuffs are greater and the explosion is more powerful.

Shuriken: Fast-firing star-shaped projectiles, their strength is equivalent to their price.

Tekko-Kagi: Extremely fast metallic blades, its speed is its strong point, its special makes whoever uses it run and attack faster.

Bolas: A pair of metal balls attached by a chain, when thrown at a player or mob, it prohibits them from walking for a few seconds, after which the item drops.

Fukyia: An upgrade of the Blowgun, it has more power, better durability and greater damage.

Yari: An extremely powerful weapon, its damage is massive but it is quite heavy, its ability is to summon thunder around the player.

Kabutowari: Makes deep cuts on whoever is attacked making them bleed, has a chance to break the enemy's skull blinding him for a few seconds.

Sticky Bomb: A tough explosive that explodes after a few seconds, don't try to break it, just run.

Kama: A small hand scythe, has low damage but is somewhat fast, and applies bleed to the enemy.

Kiseru: A metal smoke pipe, once used you get surrounded by smoke and applies Invisibility and Fire Resistance on you, when the effects fade, you get Glowing for a bit.

Nobori: A large banner you can hold on your off-hand to get Resistance, Fire Resistance VI and Strength, but the large size of the item makes almost half of the screen get blocked.

Ono: A small hand axe capable of dealing a really strong punch, can be used has a normal axe or a deadly slow weapon.

Saihai: Is a batton most resembling a flail, deals low dammage, but makes you immortal for 8s costing 5 levels of XP, in case you don't have enought, the buff will still apply, but way weaker.

Yumi: A really large metal bow, makes you really slow while holding it, and while charging it you almost can't move, but the damage and power is really high, great for far away fights in advantageous positions.

Egypt:

Anhk: An unbreakable projectile that respawns after a few seconds of hitting its target, applies debuffs to whoever is hit.

Crook: In addition to serving as a pickaxe, your special creates explosives around you after 3s.

Flail:  It's not the best attack weapon, but it makes you immortal for 8s in exchange for 5 levels of XP, in case you don't have XP the buffs will be smaller.

Javelin: A powerful spear that throws the enemy back.

Khopesh: A light weapon that has a chance to mark the enemy to be struck by a lightning after a few seconds, if its raining of thundering the chance is higher.

Mace Axe: An extremely heavy weapon, its massive damage makes it extremely slow to use.

Pole Axe:  A powerful axe that is enchanted with Knockback when it is yeld for the first time, the higher the world difficulty the more knockback it gives.

Sekhem Scepter: In addition to being a stylish shovel, this staff creates pillars of earth under your feet that disappear after 2 minutes.

Composite Bow: A really fast shooting golden bow that deals low damage but shoots a storm of arrows.

Epsilon Axe: A big axe with a shot blade, does medium damage but slows the enemys, also can create a explosion around you on command with a cooldown.

Khinjar: A small dagger capable of dealing low damage really fast, has also a ability that makes you attack and run faster.

Scorpion Mace: A heavy golden mace, makes you slower while holding it, but deals a huge punch, good for slow and strong attacks.

Sistrum: A small hand instrument, can be enchanted by right clicking with Disarm spending 10 xp levels, the enchantment disapears after some time, while enchanted with Disarm your attacks will deal 64 damage to the weapon in main and off hand of the enemy.

Throw Stick: A golden club-like weapon capable of getting tossed, the damage is not the best but has a really good knockback, if you hit a entity the weapon will automatically return to your inventory, instead of falling in the ground.

Roma:

Dolabra: A multitool capable of breaking stone, earth and wood, if you attack targets with less than 70hp max and with the weakness effect it will chop off their heads killing them instantly.

Gladius: It may not seem like it, but this sword has a very sharp blade that makes the opponent bleed and the ability to temporarily blind him.

Hasta: A long spear with a lot of damage, great for keeping your distance in combination with a shield.

Kopis: It may seem weak, but its special turns it into a beast, when activating the special you enter the berserk mode that increases damage and attack speed, when it ends you are weak for a few seconds,

Pilum: A powerful throwable spear, drops right after hitting the target or block.

Plumbata: A small but effective dart, they can be thrown quickly and are relatively good for their price.

Pugio: A small and fast blade, its damage can be low but its attack speed makes it a powerful weapon.

Spatha: A large, heavy blade, it may lack abilities, but its massive damage and attack speed make it an excellent weapon.

Batillum: A small hand shovel that can be used both as a weapon and as a tool.

Falx: A weapon with a sharp curved blade, capable of making the opponent bleed after a hit.

Ligo: A smaller and more compact version of the Dolabra, deals less damage but is faster hitting.

Manuballista: A big and heavy crossbow, capable of shooting far, dealing a great punch, and even set enemys on fire, but is really hard to aim, as the protection on the front blocks your vision while aiming.

Parma: A small hand shield that protects you from fire and removes poison and bleeding as soon as they get applied.

Scutum: A large and heavy shield, gives you Protection I while in hand and has a 40% chance to deny a enemy attack on you possibly saving you from a certain death, when crouching you get slowfalling, also works mid-air so you can negate fall damage.

Maya:

Atlatl: A wooden extension that helps Atlatl Darts gain power, throwing them farther.

Atlatl Dart: An Itztli-tipped spear, heavy but strong, throwing it by hand is ineffective.

Ekel: A hand axe made from Itztli, marks the enemy after attacking him making him more vulnerable.

Hos: A heavy machete, but its chain grip makes it an easy weapon to handle.

Kobol: A wooden scepter capable of creating jaws in the ground around the wielder

Kuchilu: A fast and extremely resistant knife, its damage may not be the best but it's still a good weapon.

Macuahuitl: An very strong and heavy weapon, instantly kills horses, llamas and donkeys.

Satil: A wooden statue capable of making the player immortal for 8s, but he cannot attack in that time

Blowgun: Weak bamboo weapon that shoots poisonous darts.

Caribbean:

Cutlass: A curved sword fairly fast that gives a lot of dammage.

Boarding Axe: A weavy axe that deals massive dammage, buts it's very slow.

Horn: A baton-like weapon that deals debuffs on attacked mobs.

Cursed Skull: When on hand makes you blind but gives the wither effect to the attacked mob.

Dynamite: Heavy projectile that explodes in contact dealing massive explosion dammage.

Harpoon: A spear-like weapon, deals good dammage while having a balance attack speed.

Stiletto: A small knife that deals low dammage while having a lot of attack speed.

England:

Bludgeon: A baseball-like bat equipped with sharp spikes, always does 25% or 33% of the current health of the enemy.

Dagger: A small blade that does low dammage in high speeds.

Falchion: A large sword, does good dammage with a balanced attack speed.

Morning Star: A heavy mace weapon, it's slow but does a lot of dammage.

Scimitar: A curved blade sword, when attacks an enemy has a low chance to mark to him be struck by a lightning bolt after 3 seconds, if its raining or thundering the chance is higher.

Swing: A fairly fast weapon capable of making the enemy bleed.

War Hammer: A strong hammer, after beign held the first time is enchanted with knockback, the highest the world difficulty the less knockback it gives.

Team Fortress 2:

Eyelander: A large sword that offers temporarly absortion and speed effects upon a landing a kill.

Pain Train: Upon landing a hit it makes the target bleed.

Scotsman's Skullcutter: A slow and incredbly strong axe, can be used to cut wood or deal heavy damage, it makes the player slower on main or off-hand

Claidheamh Mòr: Has a 35% chance to enchant itselft with Channeling upon hitting a enemy, once is enchanted you can press Right Click to activate a 2.25s speed boost, while boosting you gain Strength if holding the sword.

Half-Zatoichi: While in main or off_hand you recive a regeneration boost effect, if you attack someone also using the Half-Zatoichi on main or off-hand, you intantly kill them upon landing a hit.

Persian Persuader: Upon hitting a enemy the sword enchants himself with Channeling, once is enchanted you can press Right Click to activate a 1.75s speed boost, while boosting you gain Strength if holding the sword.

Bushwacka: If the oponent is at half health, every hit with this weapon will deal 6 bonus damage.

Kukri: Its a small and low damage weapon, but is very fast, capable of dealing a ton of damage quickly.

Necro Smasher: A wodden hammer that blinds the oponent after hitting them, has a 40% change of also slowing them down when hit.

Nessie's Nine Iron: It's a golf club used as a battle pole, deals a good amount of damage and makes a explosion around you when right clicked capable of killing a ton of mobs at once.

Powerjack: Its a car battery held against a handle, while holding the item you recive a speed boost, you also have a 30% chance of applying glowing to the target you're hitting.

Prinny Machete: A small and fast weapon with incredibly low damage, but applies bleeding on the target hit.

Shahanshah: You recive Weakness 2 while holding the weapon, but if you're at 50% or less health you'll recieve Strength 3 while holding it, and the Weakness debuff removed.

Neo-Latin:

Bec de Corbin: A heavy multi-tool that can be used as a weapon, a shovel, a axe or a pickaxe,

Carracks Sword: Upon killing a mob you recieve a short absortion effect and a small speed boost.

Croce: A cross that can be thrown, has a lot of knockback and applies debuffs on the target.

Estoc: While holding the sword you'll recive Hunger II, Speed I and Strength III.

Rapier: A fast attacking sword, has low dammage but high attack speed.

Sabre: A strong blade that allways deals 25% or 33% of the target's current health.

Shepherd's Axe: A strong axe capable of dealing high damage with slow attack speed.

Spadone: This weapon enchants himself with Mending, while held the sword will slowly lose durability, but you recieve Strength III while holding it.

Chinese:

Dao: A balanced sword with capable of dealing a ton of damage.

Ji: A large polearm with a sharp point, makes the enemy bleed after damaging him.

Podao: A heavy polearm with slow attack speed but enourmous damage.

Qiang: A double function spear, can be used as melee and range, has high damage both on close combat and far away.

Sai: Small weapon with 3 spikes, is really fast even with low damage, the ability makes you attack and run faster.

Shuang Gou: A blade curved in the point, becomes stronger when weld two of those, one in each hand.

Shuangshou Jian: A large double blade that is stronger when noting is in the off-hand.

Zhuge: A fast action crossbow, deals high damage in low time and amazing distance, also has a lot of durability.

Compatibility:

Optifine: The mod works fine with optifine without any problems.

Create: Adds simple automation using the mechanical mixer.

Better Combat: Every weapon is compatible with better combat.

Epic Fight: Weapons are compatible with the mod but have some minor inconsistencies
