Fae's Gardencraft 1.20.1 - 1.2.0

Changelog

Changes in 1.2.0:

  • Updated the mod for Minecraft Java Version 1.20.1 (Sadly, the older versions are no longer going to be updated until I can find a way to get MCreator to let me work on them again. I may have to learn proper java coding just for this, but that's gonna take time!)

Rebuilt the Giant Flower Forest (I'll expand the flowers in future releases)

Rebuilt the Giant Grass and the dark green wood set!

Rebuilt the Flower Stem Wood Set (Then found the original sprites, liked them more and replaced them with the original 1.1.0 textures! The texture can still be found in creative mode on the Stem Block Door and Trapdoor, if you wanna see how those models looked and why I made the change.)

Rebuilt the giant petal stairs and slabs!

Added recipes for each color of giant petal block! (Just use 4 of any flower that produces that color's dye in crafting table to obtain these blocks if you can't find the rare giant flower forests.)

Added recipes to obtain Grass Blocks! (Same as the petals, just place four vanilla grasses in a crafting table to craft a Grass Block. Four Tall grass produces two Grass Blocks, which can then be broken down into the dark green planks, or combined with more Grass Blocks to make Stairs, Slabs, Doors, or Trapdoors with that texture!)

Added recipes to obtain Stem Blocks! (Same as Petal and Grass Blocks, this time you use 4 ferns in a crafting table to craft the Stem Block, which can be broken down into the light green planks and used to craft the Stem Planks Set, or crafted into Stem Stairs and Slabs. Stem Stairs also appear in the wild as thorns on Giant Roses)

Added in giant glowing mushrooms for the vanilla giant mushrooms! (Ability to grow them from glowshrooms coming in 1.3)

Added in a new biome, The Glowing Forest! (It's great place to get your hands on glowing saplings and glow berries, however they are rare spawns! A must see biome at night!)

Added in Glowing Mangrove Trees

Added in Glowing Cherry Trees

Added New Cherry Tree types Yoshino (white cherry) trees, and Sakura (a deeper Magenta/pink cherry) tree, with glowing variants

Added the Cherry fruit drop to vanilla and new cherry leaf loot tables.

Added Glowing Torchflowers. (That's right, Torchflowers FINALLY act like torches, Just craft them with glowmeal to activate the glowing ability!)

Added Glowing Pitcher Plants!

Coming Soon in 1.3.0 Ability to grow giant mushrooms from the new mushrooms

A giant Mushroom Biome. (The concept right now is a warm swamp biome featuring giant versions of the tall mushrooms replacing trees. Frogs, Tadpoles, Mooshrooms, and Slimes can be found living among the towers of fungus!)

Ability to farm flowers and mushrooms, growing them like crops (I recovered the art assets for my crops, but not the code that made them work which is why they are delayed! The hope is that you can use these crops to farm the larger blocks or dyes, or just have more flowers for decoration)

Possible Removal/Rework of the Cherry Birch Trees. . . (I am on the fence on this one, and would appreciate feedback. I ADORE the vanilla art for Mojang's Cherry trees and feel that they look soooo much better than my simple pink recolor of the birch leaf texture. My only complaint with them was not being able to get cherry fruit from them, but i fixed that with this update.

So the question is, Do we keep the Cherry Birch Trees, Rename them to Pink Birch Trees and drop the cherries entirely, or do we just remove them entirely because the new cherry trees do it's job while looking better and fitting in with the vanilla game? I have gone back and forth on this in my mind, so I'd super appreciate opinions of folks who use my mod. Keep, Rename, Remove, or do you all have a better idea for our Cherry Birch Trees?
