Stops mobs from dropping items which don't make sense. For example, without this mod Camels and Mules can drop Horse Meat. With this mod, only Horses can drop Horse Meat.
It uses transformers to achieve the patch, and was tested for Food Expansion on Minecraft 1.7.10, however it may work on other versions.
