When it comes to survival, there are just a few things that we all think could do with an improvement. Some areas of the game feel like they need fleshing out more, and some areas just seem like they should work differently- this mod aims to fix a few of those things!

Please note- these are the ideas of my friend Small Hollow, the 'Hollow' referenced in some descriptions!

Pestle and Mortar

Right clicking with the pestle and mortar in your main hand and a select item in your offhand, it will essentially grind it up, either into its components or a product Hollow thinks it should make!

Applicable Items
  • Sandstone -> 4x Sand
  • Stone -> 1x Cobblestone
  • Cobblestone -> 1x Gravel
  • Gravel -> 1x Sand
  • Cactus -> 1x Green Dye
  • Short Grass -> 1x Lime Green Dye
  • Coal/Charcoal -> 4x Gunpowder

Honey Splodges

If you right click on the floor with a bottle of honey, you will place a 'Honey Splodge'. If you stand on it, you will not be able to move or jump- this has a lot of usage implications regarding farms and traps. I'd love to see what people do with it!

Bark

When you strip a log, it will drop an item- 'Bark'. This item can be used in a composter, or used to craft a shield!

Better Apples

Apples are now very different- instead of simply eating the apple, core and all, you take bites out of it- you can take 4 bites out of an apple before you are left with the core, which can be composted.

The Better Apples feature of this mod can also be found on my modrinth page as a separate mod!

Please report any issues, however small, on the Github Issue Tracker! You can also suggest features here if you have any ideas!
