Remapped

Remapped is a mod that aims to improve the vanilla map system.

Description

Currently, Remapped implements three features to help improve the map experience.

1: Better Map Colors

Remapped overhauls the map color system to bring more accurate colors to maps. This is done in a data-driven system where datapacks can define new colors and can assign blocks/biomes to them.

As a result of this system, modded blocks will not show up on the map.

2: Cheaper Maps

To help make getting maps easier, Remapped adds a cheaper map recipe that requires an ink sac instead of a compass. These cheaper maps will not have player trackers on them.

3: Improved Map Zooming

When you zoom out a map, the center of the existing map will be the center of the zoomed out map.

Important Notes

Remapped uses a custom map save format that is incompatible with the vanilla format. Applying the mod to an existing world will cause all pre-existing maps to corrupt and become blank.
