This mod added a fox origin with many powers focusing around fox's behaviours in game and irl.

This is my first time writing a mod.
Technically it's not a mod, I just created the datapack first (also my first time) and added the fabric header file then converted it to .jar to make it work in mods folder.
In this way I can use resource pack and datapack together >:3
I'll make it a real mod after my university teaches me java
Updates: Guys I'm not sure abt this. I actually got A+ for my university core Java course but I still can't understand basic fabric modding

Pounce
Press [Primary Skill Key] to launch yourself, consume food point, CD=1.5s. Can use again during CD but consuming much more food points and you can chain jump high enough to kill you with fall damage, use with caution!
While falling down: 2x Damage taken and 3x Damage delt. Slightly increases attack reach. Crouch in mid-air to temporarily disable the damage bonuses.
This skill can be combined with the Hunt skill for more ouchie via the guaranteed extra strike and/or magnetoreception-enhanced pounce.
Fox Pouch
Press [Secondary Skill Key] to open up a 5-slots inventory that keeps items upon death.
Foxify
Able to turn into a disguise fox
Able to ride player and other configurable ridable entities
Able to take fox away with you
Hunt
Activate by double-tap and hold the sneak key to:
1.Turn Invisible
2.Make mobs around you glow.
3.Increase attack for the next 5 seconds. The damage bonus is doubled during night. Do extra damage every 3 hit in this phase and gain 2 food point & saturation.
Agility
(+)While sprinting, movement speed and jump height increase.
(+)Ignore fall distance under 24 blocks. Crouch when falling to greatly reduce fall damage.
Smol
(+/-)Shrinked Size.
(+)Less noticable to mobs.
(-)Max Health reduced to 8 Hearts.
Weak
(-)Cannot use shield
(-)Cannot wear armor heavier than iron armors
(-)Use up air twice as fast when under water
Foxiality
(+)Permanent night vision.
(+)Foxes around you will trust you.
(+)Quadrupled damage against chicken, rabbit, fish, turtle.
(+)Ignore berry bushes.
(+)Hold jump to levitate in powder snow.
(+)Right-click a fox with empty-hand to drop the item in its mouth.
(+)Right-click a fox with empty-hand while crouching to force it to sit
(+)Receive an item when waking up. Weight of items depending on the items foxes hold when spawn naturally.
(+)Break shovel-specialised-blocks at 1000% speed with empty hand
(+)Deal more damages to Merling and Avian
(-)Recive more damages from Blazeborn
(-)Can't sleep when expose to sky or during hunt phase or near fear factor
(-)Wolf and Polar bear around you will become hostile. Unless you are invisible using the skill [Hunt]
(-)Wolf and Polar bear do 2x damages to you
Fluffy
(+)Ignore Freezing damage. Unless your upper body is in rain.
(-)Fire deals more damage to you.
(-)Slowdown when get wet. Wear Water Protection armors to avoid.
When out of water + under cover + not moving, will do a lil shaking animation to shake the water and slowdown effect off.
Shake snow animation also available, just an animation......
Timidity
(+/-)During these conditions, you will get fear effect, a.k.a shaking animation, speed 1 and weakness 1:
-Near a Polar bear or a wolf
-Near a Villager (No longer applies after having advancement hero_of_the_village)
-Near a Warden (No longer applies after killed 3 wardens)
-Near a Wither (No longer applies after killed 1 wither)
-Near an Ender dragon (No longer applies after killed 1 Ender dragon)
-Thunder (No longer applies after struck by lightning 16 times)
-Low Health (No longer applies after died 8 times)
-In the nether (No longer applies when equipping elytra or having fire_resistence or armours fire_protection enchantment level sum >=4) (Or after 10 min inside)
-In the end (No longer applies when equipping elytra)(Or after 10 min inside)
-Near Human / Enderian / Blazeborn / Shulk Origin Player (Temperarily disabled after interacted)
Unique Taste
(+)Glow berries and Sweet berries buffed
(+)Raw/cooked chicken/rabbit/cod/salmon/tropical fish buffed lesser.
(+)The above foods are edible even when foodlevel is at maximum. When consumed, apply regeneration 1 for 3 seconds.
(+)Chicken and rottenflesh will not give you negative effects.
(+)When consuming sweet berries or glow berries:
20% chance the berry is not consumed.
5% chance for you to receive a random positive effect:
- Strength 1 30s
- Absorption 1 30s
- Haste 1 30s
- Instant_health 1 1s
- Jump_boost 1 30s
- Speed 1 30s
- Luck 1 30s
- Resistance 1 30s
- Saturation 1 30s
- Regeneration 2 30s
For glow berries, the chance of receiving a positive effect is doubled (at 10%)
(-)All other foods except for apple, rotten flesh, 3 golden foods are nerfed, half as effective as before.
Fast-Paced
(+)Increased Attack Speed.
(-)Easier to get hungry.
(-)Damage you deal is proportional to your current food level. From 105% at max food level to only 40% at lowest.
Fox Sound Pack
Make various fox sound in different senario.
Can be Right clicked by others with empty hand to boop.
Can be Right clicked by others with empty hand while crouching to pet.
Can be Right clicked by others with berries to feed
Replace hit sound with bonk if you are hit by a stick
I can say I'm now 95.1% sure how to code a proper power out, but I'm still not familiar with the whole 'Balancing' thingy. I just put everything I want into this origin lmao idk balance
so you can balance it yourself. See the file [For Server Admin] inside the .jar file for configurable settings including damage output.
