This mod adds a bunch of upgrade modifier tokens that can be combined with your equipment at an anvil to improve their stats. For example the Max Health Token can be combined with any chest plate item and it will increase your maximum health when you wear that chest plate. Each item can have a combination of upgrades applied to it, but you may only apply three upgrades to a specific item.

Players can obtain these tokens as a rare trade from the new wandering trader villager. In some modpacks they can also be obtained for completing certain missions or quests.

Potential Questions

Does this work with modded items?
Yes. Each modifier works with a certain type of equipment slot. All items have an equipment slot.

Can you add a token that does X?
If you have a feature suggestion please create an issue on the GitHub page. I would prefer to stick with attributes rather than things like potion effects.

Some items look a bit weird or different after I apply a token?
Minecraft does not always show players tooltips consistently. For example a sword may say 5 damage and 1.6 attack speed, but after applying a token it may say -2.4 attack speed and 4 damage. This is because of how Minecraft calculates and displays those stats. The green text versions are made to look prettier and easier to read, however adding additional modifiers can break their pretty formatting. The stats are the same and it's not actually doing less damage or lowering the attack speed.

To give additional context, Minecraft may show the attack damage as being one less than before. This is because the player has a base damage of one that is added in the background. The same is true for attack speed, the player starts out with a high attack speed value and the weapons lower it to account for their different swing speeds.
