This mod simply stops the wither skeletons from dropping their stone sword.
It does this by removing the sword from the wither skeleton's hand when it meets it's demise.
In result this means that the loot tables are being kept unchanged, in turn keeping custom drops intact.

The mod is completely server-sided but can be installed on the client for single player worlds.
