Welcome to BongoWongo! This modpack is a vanilla friendly bingo game with some QoL mods that will let you play with your friends at any time. For use, you just need to download this modpack, drop the config and mods folder in to your server folder and hit play.
How to start a game.
To set up your game you just need to create a lobby. The simplier way is to place some carpets in the floor with the colors of your teams.
Then you need (as an operator in the server) to use /bingo create [difficulty] and choose from easy to hard. This will determine the set of items you will need to find. Then you will need to add the settings. Currently there's 2: default and pvp.
Version 1.4 includes custom settings and bingo cards, you can check them using autofill commands. In next version a Lobby will be included with lecterns explaining everything you need to know.
Once a game has been created all players that wants to participate needs to stand on a carpet.
Now use /bingo start. All players will be teleported to a random place, and the timer will start. Its time to play!
How to install BongoWongo settings.
To enable the new Bingo settings and card you need to:
- Create a world (if you already have one you can skip this step).
- Go to your instance.
- Copy "bongowongo" folder.
- Go to your saves folder and open the world you wanna play.
- Paste "bongowongo" folder inside your datapacks folder.
- Launch your game and enjoy!
How to restart the world.
Once you have played a couple of games, you might seem to notice that the world has been already explored. Some chest will be empty, you will find pillars or trees cut down. That's the moment you need to restart the world.
Simply open your world folder (saves-->'world name') and delete the 'region', 'DIM1' and 'DIM-1' folders. This will make a new world, but you will preserve your lobby.
Some recommendations.
- Check your keybinds for these features:
- Full Brightness Toggle.
- Viner (Vein Miner).
- Bingo card extender (Default Y).
- Enable Connected Carpets ResourcePack (and put it on top of everything). Just to have nicer carpets.
