[Ambience Update]

Mods:

Changes:

  • Added Excalibur textures for Handcrafted (thanks anivay!)
  • Added many new songs by Alexander Nakarada, Vindsvept, and Adrian von Ziegler (Licensed CC-BY-4.0)
  • Music will now play quieter while in menus (except the main menu) and transition less often/more cleanly
  • Game startup should be significantly faster, due to changes in how most music is loaded
  • Fixed a bug where Origin attributes/sizes would reset upon death (Medieval Origins Revival)
  • Added dog panting:
    • Wolves and dogs will now cool themselves to 25% by panting
    • They will emit more frequent panting sounds the hotter they are (Scorchful)
  • Added spyglass zoom scrolling feature:
    • Scrolling while using the spyglass now changes the zoom level (Accessorify)
  • Added Recovery Compass accessory:
    • When equipped, shows last death coordinates in the info overlay (Accessorify)
  • Reworked Oath of the Bulwark (Now Oath of Glory):
    • Existing Oaths of the Bulwark will be destroyed (Spellblades)
  • Snow now accumulates on entities outside in the snow and will melt when they go inside or enter a warm area, soaking them (Frostiful)
  • Mountain climate changes (Frostiful):
    • Mountain peaks (except Stony Peaks) are now freezing
    • Stony Peaks are freezing in Winter
    • Mountain slopes are now cold
    • Mountain slopes are freezing in Winter

  • Enabled Modernfx Dynamic Resources to reduce memory usage.

  • Improved Spell Engine compatibility for FTB Teams.
  • Stamina now renders as red when too low to sprint.
  • Disabled Charm animal variants.
  • Removed Tide book on the first join.
  • Updated Crash Assistant messages to be more user-friendly.

    • Added Aquarium Resonator—a block that grants Beacon Power II (Haste II + Water Breathing) when near an active Conduit.

  • Extra RPG Attributes: Suppressing now works on all types of magic.
  • Complementary Mod:
    • Improved Colored Light Fog appearance in bright conditions.
    • Improved light shaft behavior near large glass structures.

  • Traveler’s Backpack:
    • Fixed item filtering duplication glitch.

Bug Fixes & Improvements

  • Villagers can now place melons and pumpkins (Smarter Farmers).
  • Villagers will no longer trample farmland (Smarter Farmers).
  • Spellblades and Such:
    • Changed Feather Lash to Phoenix Down.
    • Fixed bug causing extreme armor damage from niche tick-based damage.
  • Tom’s Simple Storage Mod: Fixed item duplication and log spam.
  • Complementary Mod:
    • Fixed AMD graphics card-related crashes.
    • Fixed sky brightness changing too fast at sunrise/sunset.
    • Fixed modded items with excessively bright handheld lighting.

  • Touched up the Dark Forest biome. The trees were changed up, and the dark oak now has a new variant, with more interesting crowns, similar to what you can find in the pale garden! The biome is now also a bit darker and eerier. This also means mobs may spawn more often. (Geophilic)
  • Added block hit sound upon swinging at blocks (Better Combat)
  • Fix Combat Roll not cancelling attack properly (Better Combat)
  • Made spell animations more varied (Invocations) Spellblades animations updated - new animation for Sonic Strike (Spellblades)
  • Fixed Flickering Flame not attacking from all angles (Spellblades)
  • Flickering flame will no longer fail to perform its impacts if it fails to teleport (Spellblades) Updated Pegasus to be tamable, ridable, and flyable! (Mobs of Mythology)
  • Added Pegasus to Mountain peaks for spawn location (Mobs of Mythology)
  • Updated Kobold warrior loot tables to prevent errors (Mobs of Mythology)
