What Sets 'Optimalsation' Apart?

There's many modpacks that have optimization mods in them but they're either bloated with other stuff or they only have a few mods you could just add yourself.

This modpack is a all-in-one of every FPS mod as long as they're 1) compatible with each other and 2) it actually helps performance (some mods don't have the results they claim or another mod does something similar, mod authors include them anyway, bloating the pack)

Shaders & RTX

The mod also includes performance-friendly shaders with further optimizations so if you wanted to use shaders during gameplay try them out!

There's also a version of this mod that uses the Distant Horizon beta + my shader tweaks from above, delivering incredibile performance with stunning visuals. Download the "DH Shaders" version of my mod to try.

Research & Testing

Months testing different combinations of incompatible FPS mods to see which ones gives the greatest performance went into this and I can confidently say that this exact combination is the smoothest way to play newer versions of Minecraft.

Versions

Not every version of Minecraft has the same mods, mods are discontinued all the time and not every mod supports all rendering APIs either. As a result you can expect different performance depending on which rendering API and game version you're using. Optimalsation's fastest version / API will always be the featured one, but if you wish to play on a newer version of Minecraft or on the Forge you can.

The performance loss in comparison to the fastest version will always be in the download title for convience. Do note that Optimalsation is still always the fastest modpack for said version/API of Minecraft since other mods will also be equally as hampered in those situations as well.

Fabric

  • 1.20.1: 100% Performance (Fastest Optimalsation Version)

  • 1.19.2 & 1.20.4: -4.4% Performance

Forge

  • 1.20.1: -29% Performance
