VirtualStorages is a Bukkit plugin designed to enhance storage capabilities for players on Minecraft servers. It introduces the concept of virtual backpacks, allowing players to store items beyond their regular inventory limits.
How to Install:
- Download the VirtualStorages plugin.
- Place the plugin JAR file in your server's plugins folder.
- Start or restart your Minecraft server to enable the plugin.
Usage and Permissions:
Command: /backpack
Allows the user to access their virtual backpack.
Permission:
virtualstorages.use.#
Replace "#" with the desired backpack number (1-999).
Command: /vsreload
Its important to use this command after updating a user's/group's permission so it can update correctly
Permission:
virtualstorages.admin.reload
Data Management:
Player backpack data is stored in a YAML file inside the plugin's Data Folder, with each file named after a player's UUID. This file is fully editable, allowing server administrators to customize player inventories as needed. Changes made to the YAML file apply instantly without requiring a server restart.
