Customize Your Minecraft Armor & Weapons with the Grimdark Battlepack!
The Grimdark Battlepack includes hundreds of custom armor, weapon, and tool textures that can be mixed and matched to customize your look in Minecraft. This pack includes all textures from the Grimdark Pirate Pack, Gridark Samurai Pack, Grimdark Viking pack and more extra exclusive features. Drawing inspiration from other dark fantasy worlds, the Battlepack provides textures with more detail that will look great in your medieval worlds while maintaining play-ability (gold armor is immediately recognizable as gold armor for example). In addition to the armor and tools, this pack also includes custom textures for crafting tables and decorative blocks which makes it easy to pair with a builder's pack of your choosing or to simply enhance your look while building with (mostly) vanilla block textures.
The Battlepack also includes damaged item textures, tool and weapon variants as well as multiple armor variants for each material so you can customize your look (1.20+ Armor Trims, Optifine or CITresewn Required). These variant item and armor textures are accessible by renaming those items at an anvil. For example, renaming your Diamond Helmet to include "Heavy" somewhere in the name will change the texture to the heavy variant, renaming your leather boots to include the word "Light" will change the texture to the light variant, renaming your Diamond Sword to include "Katana" will change the texture to the katana variant, etc. Any naming conventions that do not include a variant identifier will use the standard texture.
Finally, the Battlepack also includes custom Biome colormaps to create some 'fall' themed biomes as well as 'spring' themed biomes (Optifine Required).

Grimdark FAQ
Q: Can I use this pack as a server resource pack for my server?
A: If you are running a small private server, Yes! I only ask that you not re-upload my textures elsewhere or redistribute them. Permission for public servers is granted to all active Grimdark Patrons.
Q: How do I get the variant textures?
A: Take the appropriate item to an anvil and rename it using the keyword specified above.
Q: The variant textures aren't working - how do I fix it?
A: Variant textures require you to play using Optifine or CITResewn with custom items enabled up to version 1.20.4. Neither currently supports custom item textures in 1.20.5 or up. If variants aren't working, double check your Optifine settings and disable other addons that might be causing conflicts.
Q: When is this pack / texture / feature coming to Bedrock?
A: IF it's possible, as soon as I can. Even though Bedrock and Java look similar at surface level they are VERY different. Just because something is created for one doesn't mean it is supported in the other. Similarly, some things are easy to do in Java that are extremely difficult to do in Bedrock. This means some features may never make it to Bedrock.
Q: Can you add X texture / feature?
A: Please submit all suggestions and requests via DM on Patreon.
Q: Can I redistribute the Grimdark textures in another pack/mod?
A: No.
