Pillage and plunder your Minecraft world with the Grimdark Viking Pack!
Customize your look with 6 sets of Viking themed armor complete with armor trims that add accessories, masks and more. Then grab one of 10 unique Viking round shields and wield mighty Viking weapons in battle! You can also claim the legendary Valorite variants by joining the Grimdark Patreon. This resource pack includes completely custom textures for all weapons and tools with 3d models, one for each material type. Once you've acquired the right tools be sure to grab a Stormhammer (trident) and a Runestone of Protection (totem) before heading out for adventure! This combat resource pack contains primarily tool, weapon & armor textures which makes it easy to pair with a builder's pack of your choosing or to simply enhance your look while building with the vanilla block textures.
The Grimdark Viking Pack now features custom armor trims for Minecraft 1.20 and up. Customize your samurai armor with masks, trinkets and other accessories using the new armor trim system. The Grimdark Viking pack also includes custom textures for the Totem of Undying, bow, crossbow, fishing rod, flint & steel, and shears!
This pack benefits from Optifine to support some optional features, specifically Stormhammer (the trident) and the Viking round shield variants. The variant textures can be acquired by renaming your shield at an anvil. For example, renaming the shield to include "Iron" somewhere in the name will change the texture to the Iron Viking Shield variant. Any naming conventions that do not include a variant identifier will use the standard texture.

Grimdark FAQ
Q: Can I use this pack as a server resource pack for my server?
A: If you are running a small private server, Yes! I only ask that you not re-upload my textures elsewhere or redistribute them. Permission for public servers is granted to all active Grimdark Patrons.
Q: How do I get the variant textures?
A: Take the appropriate item to an anvil and rename it using the keyword specified above.
Q: The variant textures aren't working - how do I fix it?
A: Variant textures require you to play using Optifine or CITResewn with custom items enabled up to version 1.20.4. Neither currently supports custom item textures in 1.20.6 or 1.21. If variants aren't working, double check your Optifine settings and disable other addons that might be causing conflicts.
Q: When is this pack / texture / feature coming to Bedrock?
A: IF it's possible, as soon as I can. Even though Bedrock and Java look similar at surface level they are VERY different. Just because something is created for one doesn't mean it is supported in the other. Similarly, some things are easy to do in Java that are extremely difficult to do in Bedrock. This means some features may never make it to Bedrock.
Q: Can you add X texture / feature?

Q: Can I redistribute the Grimdark textures in another pack/mod?
A: No.
