Hibernal Herbs adds herb-based vegetation, which (by default) spawns in the core snowy biomes of Minecraft. This can be adjusted however via the use of a datapack (example pack here). These herbs can be used as an early-game food source and late-game as a source of mystical abilities.
A new wood type can also be found in these biomes, which makes for great decoration blocks and allows you to access mystical properties when used in combination with certain herbs.
Showcase
The herbs shown below can (mostly) be found in the respective biomes. However, some herbs (such as Fennkystral or Thyocielle) can only be obtained via midgame to late-game recipes.
When exploring these biomes, be sure to be on the lookout! Myqueste trees have a striking resemblance to Spruce trees!
