Oops!!!!

Yknow how I was complaining that Optifine broke everything :)?

It was actually: me <3!!!

Shoutouts to AdminCat of OptiKai for actually helping me fix this issue, swell dude.

One of the "Addendum" tracks had a "^" in it's file name for dramatic artsy reasons, it's actually a bug that Minecraft used to accept that character at all, so just swapping that out fixed everything.

Askew is now compatible on newer Optifine versions for 1.21! Askew for everyone!!!

So CIT (custom items, armors, shields) & all that crap works now too!

As apologies for making you download two packs in one season I've added 2 brand new songs to this one, as a snack :)!

In other news:

1.21 support!! For now, I highly recommend "Optikai" for anything 1.21 related. Optifine is having some.......issues.......

Things that don't work rn (just the CIT for the most part) have the code to make them work already. Just gotta wait for Optifine (or Optikai) to catch up :)

Lang file changes! Advancement and Enchantments got some small tweaks in addition to the new 1.21 stuff! So if you've seen them! no you havent!!!

If it's new, I've probably got imagery and sounds done for them. (Mace, Wind charge, Special Limited Edition Hot Dog)

Redid all the copper sounds! They were a bit annoying before, I didn't anticipate them making a big monument made of the one block I largely ignored!

Redid all the copper imagery too!! Copper in Vanilla (and Askew, until now) just sorta had different opacities for their copper stages. So I've made them a bit more distinct!

REMOVED Dog Breeds!!!!! >:(!!!!!!!

ADDED Dog Breeds!! :)!!!!!

Askew had dog breeds already! And then Mojang made their own! So I remade all the new breeds and axed the old ones! Very sorry if your beloved pooch was among those lost. They went to live on a farm....dog explosion farm....

Non-1.21 stuff:

Askew is now like, half the size it used to be! Lots of optimizations all over the place!

& fixed a ton of sounds either not existing or not being assigned in the code properly:

Shears

Crossbows

Flint & Steel

Axe Strip

Copper Scrape

Exclusively the Mud break sounds?? got all the steps just forgot the breakage.

The Warden has 86 sounds all to himself, so naturally I missed like 3, those are replaced now though :)

& probably quite a few more

Skyboxes have all been redone! Still looks nearly identical, just made them more spherical than cubical, looks a bit more natural and not so obviously a box around your vision

ALL the wool textures (just didn't look right at all, i might be stupid)

ALL the dyes (just didn't look right at all, i might be stupid)

Pottery Sherds are now very honest about what they do

Lilypads!!! Just didn't have a texture, like, all this time, now they do

Frogs in general

"Ashenberry" related stuff, mostly minor

That weird dripstone tip bug?? It was just one texture assigned incorrectly, should be fine now :)

Glass Bottle looking...not good

Music Discs all got a small visual upgrade

Certain villagers no longer have flesh headbands!

Swamp & Jungle villagers no longer resort to broken textures & just use Plains ones

Leg textures are rotated correctly for Villagists!!

Villager UI too, damn, these guys have been nothing but trouble, kill 3 of them on my behalf, thx <3

Iron Golems are Robots now!!!!!!!!! It was the only way I could find to fix the jank head movement and makes their metallic sounds make more sense! Winner!!! Dinner!!!

I finally caved, bats are now the new model with some 'skewage. They still have their quirk, but are no longer broken hulking beasts!!

& once again probably more I've forgotten about

FINAL NOTE:

Our friends at Mojang have introduced a really cool bug that ruins audio!

Basically just keeping "directional audio" on no matter what you toggle it to.

So on some systems (including mine) all the audio sounds really terrible!

Audio's like this whole deal!!! dawg!!!

If everything works as normal for your system, awesome! If not, vote for this bug and check out the workaround(s) and see if they help (they worked for me :)!)

Some stuff was broken! Now it's not!

-Fixed Sapling inconsistencies

-Propagule literally didn't have a texture before, now it does!

-Recipe Book got very ill and frail in the last patch, but now it's all better :)!! ((I gave it some soup))

Minecraft: Askew??? Getting an update??? It's burning me :D!

Mostly just some bug fixes, but a couple "new" features!

-Guardians and Witches!! Their sounds didn't work before! Now they do!

-Trapped chests were just totally broken, big jumble of textures, now repaired!

-Added Cherry Boats and Bamboo Rafts! And all the chest boat variants! I just missed them and i can't think of an excuse so you gotta think of a reaaally good one for me!

-Dragon heads work finally!

-Fixed some inconsistent naming conventions in certain blocks

-Fixed a bug where if you had a slim player model you would get a stomach ache (half real)

-Touched up the Noteblock sounds!

-There were 2 cave sounds in the files that didn't actually get code to make them play, now they can!

-Dropped some deadweight of a feature that just doesn't work

-Split up the UI to prepare for future versions (agonizing) ((If you want, technically Askew has the capacity to function up to Optifine 1.20.4 now, but there are a TON of bugs outside of my control thanks to both Mojang and Optifine, but if you're dying to see it, it's passable, barely))
