    • Luzawood trees now have a chance to naturally spawn as double-forked, that is, generates with four branches instead of two.
    • Froglights of each colour may rarely spawn in Luzawood Forests in small clusters.
    • Torchflowers and Pitcher Plants may occasionally appear.
    • Rarely, Sniffers may spawn within Luzawood Forest.
  • Ocean Cube changes and fixes:
    • Tweaked the placement salt of Ocean Cube to make it extremely unlikely to intersect with Ruined Ceilands Portals.
    • Ceilingneous from bowls of Ocean Orbs should no longer occupy the inside of Ocean Cubes.
    • 1 Elder Guardian will now spawn inside Ocean Cube.
    • Removed one spawner from Ocean Cube. Changed the blocks surrounding Magma Blocks to stairs.
  • Reorganized some structure generation, especially Hanging Castle. This is done under the hood, should make it a bit easier to add more parts to Hanging Castles.
  • Changed animal spawn rules within Ceilands so they no longer account for light level. They still rarely spawn though.
  • Piglins may now spawn in Inverted Peaks and Luzawood Forests rarely. They don't zombify.

  • Ceiltrunk and Luzawood Fences, Fence Gates, and Boats can be used as furnace fuel now. This includes the chest boat variant.
  • Somewhat fixed odd placement of Ceiltrunk leaves which were very noticeable around Colossal Ceilshrooms. It doesn't apply to every case, but most of them should be gone now. I will continue to fix this.

This update adds a lot of new features to the Ceilands, parts of the efforts to make the dimension more interesting.

  • Now built on Forge 41.1.0 and as such, is the minimum version.
  • New structure: Ruined Ceilands Portal. That means escaping the Ceilands from start will be possible.
  • Improvements to Hanging Castle Structure:
    • Hanging Castles now have 5% of brick blocks replaced with cracked variant.
    • Hanging Castle dungeon chest may have Echo Shards and Blaze Rods. This provides a possibility of escaping the Ceilands if you ever lose the activator, by crafting another activator
  • Improvements to Luzawood Forest Biome:
    • Luzawood Forest floating islands should now properly have ponds. The ponds also may have seagrass.
    • Luzawood Forest Biome now has flowers and vegetation to make it less boring.
  • Improvements to Topsy Forest Biome:
    • Add Huge Ceiltrunk Tree for Topsy Forest to improve traversability.
    • Adjusted the amount of trees that can generate in Luzawood Forest biome, to try to make it more frequent.
  • Improvements to Snow Roof Biome:
    • Changed the foliage colour in Snow Roof.
    • Snow Roof biome now has snow patches on the ceiling, true to the name.
    • There are huge icicles hanging from the ceiling now. The icicles can be either of Packed Ice or rarely, Blue Ice.
  • Improvements to Ocean Orbs Biome:
    • Ocean Orbs should now have kelp and seagrass growing.
    • Added Ceilingneous ore blocks, replacing the default ores for Ceilands generation. The new ores work just like the vanilla ores.
  • Revamped many textures. Particularly, the portal, Ceilingneous, and Ceiltrunk & Luzawood logs, saplings, doors, and trapdoors.
  • Sky improvements: Clouds now appear at the bottom, and the positions of the sun and moon have changed.

Initial alpha release. The Ceilands is accessible.
